many people calling the former manager a hero they say he shouldn’t be fired for possibly saving the lives of many others Academy Sports corporate office telling us in a statement and they’re grateful everyone is safe but Crouch’s actions were inconsistent the policies in place to protect the store’s team and customers folks I talked to say the former manager did the right thing and they think he should get his job back I think I was kind of harsh overreact about people told me they think there should be an exception for actions taken by employees to protect the lives of those around them or some local businesses like the bar Madison social reaching out to even offering him a job to help him get back on his feet at the bar declined to comment and to go on to camera with me but they say they’re just trying to help the guy out or putting in Tallahassee Erica Fernandes WCTV Eyewitness News
